My interest in photography did not happen until much later in my life.  My studies prior to that involved 3 separate degrees—a BS from Western Michigan University, a BS in Nursing from Columbia University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit.

The majority of my photography concentrates on the world of flowers.  Mother Nature has done an amazing job in creating her palette and when I am photographing her works of art, there is a sense of serenity and an opportunity to immerse myself in a world of beauty.  I can replenish my spirit from the challenges I face as a criminal defense attorney.

Each flower is unique and that is what I look for when I press the shutter.  Sharing the beauty that I have captured, with others, is what I want to accomplish.  While the majority of my images are flowers, my portfolio also includes landscape and architectural images.
